50-Mile Race: Begins at the Resurrection Pass Trailhead in Cooper Landing and concludes in Hope. Participants follow the trail up to Resurrection Pass, then take the Devil’s Pass Trail before returning to the main trail toward Hope. This race is also largely self-supported.

The trail offers diverse landscapes, including spruce and birch forests, alpine meadows, and mountainous vistas. Participants should be prepared for variable weather conditions, with temperatures ranging from the 30s to 70s (°F) in late July and early August. Wildlife such as bears and moose inhabit the area, so carrying bear spray and making noise to alert animals is recommended.

The 2025 Resurrection Pass Ultras are scheduled for July 25-26. The 100-mile race will commence on Friday, July 25, followed by the 50-mile race on Saturday, July 26.

These races offer a unique opportunity to experience Alaska’s backcountry, combining physical endurance with the state’s natural beauty.
